Murdoch

Conveniently located in Murdoch, near South street, students have access to a multitude of public transport options at Murdoch TAFE.

You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of courses from animal studies, fitness, to laboratory work, or you can even study nursing at our purpose built facility.

Murdoch is home to WA’s only nationally accredited floristry training and also specialises in business and finance, community services, conservation and land management, arboriculture, childcare and landscaping just to name a few.

We also have a dedicated hair, beauty and massage student clinic, giving students a chance to operate in a 'real life' beauty clinic, hairdressing salon or remedial massage clinic and develop their practical skills under the guidance of qualified practitioners and lecturers. The clinic is open to the public and bookings can be made online.

If you need further support with your English or getting job-ready we have several foundation courses at Murdoch to improve your skills and prepare you for the workplace. Murdoch also delivers the Adult Migrant English Program.

Murdoch campus is home to advanced IT facilities and equipment for courses across computing, gaming and digital media. It is also home to our state-of-the-art Training Cyber Security Operations Centre (TCSOC). This purpose-built facility is an integral part of cyber security training, providing students with a secure training environment designed to simulate realistic cyber-attacks relating to attack, defence and monitoring.

The Murdoch Student Garden Centre is a centre of excellence in horticulture and pivotal to student's learning for service delivery.  As part of their studies, students propagate natives, herbs and some exotic plants which are then available for purchase as part of the Student Garden Centre Plant Sale, held twice a year.

We also have a pet grooming salon at our Murdoch campus for our students to gain hands-on experience. The clinic accepts bookings from the general public during the term on Thursdays 8am-4pm.
