Our training equips cohorts with foundational knowledge and skills in remote operations and autonomous control. Providing the tools and knowledge to identify and mitigate risks and hazards in the workplace by gaining an understanding of the automated safety controls, functional safety, and processes.

Working cooperatively and honing leadership skills to create change among diverse teams and foster positive working relationships in order to influence quality outcomes. Gain the ability to analyse data and make informed dynamic decisions to enhance the optimisation of productivity while working in a high-pressured demanding environment.

Develop the capacity to engage effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders, gaining insight into the potential ripple effects along the value chain, and ensuring operational continuity through the utilization of technology for facilitating efficient remote communication.

Students should bear in mind that enrolling in a Certificate IV course necessitates becoming self-directed learners capable of working both independently and collaboratively while managing a significant workload.

Students study this course at our automation centre at Munster campus, with simulation facilities allowing students to develop their skills. The purpose-built training facility features remote control operations simulator.
